5 Benefits of Translucent Roller Blinds

  1. They Allow for Filtered Light

Translucent roller blinds are not entirely see-through. Rather, they present a sort of opaque shade that allows light to filter through. As the fabric used for it is something between our sunscreen roller blind (which allows for much more visibility through the blinds) and our blockout roller blind (which allows no light or visibility to penetrate the fabric), you cannot see directly through the fabric.

This doesn't stop the right amount of light to come through and fill your room with natural sunlight.

  1. They Allow for Privacy

As we stated above, you cannot see directly through our translucent roller blinds. As such, you can rest assured that you will have the option of total privacy if the blinds are closed. This is the perfect accessory for your main living areas where you want enough sunlight but still want added privacy and don't want to require a day/night blind solution.

  1. They Offer Great Control and Ease of Operation

The translucent blind works by rolling the fabric around a tube, which is then turned by a sidewinder unit with an operating chain. This makes the ease of use very much pronounced. If you want it to be even easier, you can choose the motorised option. The motor, drawn from 240-volt power inside the roller tube, is operated easily via remote control.

More so than their Venetian counterparts, translucent blinds are very durable. The strong steel tubes combine with high-quality fabrics and a great operating system to create a stunning piece of craftsmanship. These blinds will last a long time and they won't crumple and fade under pressure from UV rays.

Not only are they low maintenance, but they are also easy to clean. Simply run a wet cloth lightly over them to remove any excess dirt or dust.
